The complexity of European cooperation programs, known as Interreg, makes it difficult to communicate the results achieved by initiatives undertaken jointly by different regions. However, there are thousands of cases of cooperation in Europe and the aim of the campaign ‘Interreg Cooperation Day’ is to make them visible to society through fun, ludic cultural activities throughout Europe.
In this sense, each 21 September, Europe celebrates cooperation among regions through the organisation of more than a hundred activities taking place in numerous European cities. Interact Valencia has joined this campaign once again, this year with a fresh show where humour is combined with different circus disciplines.
This performance, named ‘EXPRESS’, is in line with the European Year of Skills: eight young people will offer outstanding partner acrobatics, as well as circus techniques such as the Chinese pole, the verticals, the ‘clown’ and different moves mastering the art of keeping the balance. This highly skilled show is created collectively to surprise and drive the audience crazy.
What is this show about?
In the courier agency ‘EXPRESS’ nothing works as it should. Everything is upside down, even its workers! The packages come and go between acrobatics, balancing and juggling. The work goes on and on. The shipments fly as fast as the employees’ moves and are full of surprises… If you come to see the show, keep an eye out… You may have mail!
The company ‘Faltan7’, in charge of this circus performance, is an international company formed by eight professionals from four countries: Ireland, Israel, Italy and Spain. They perfectly represent the European values of respect, diversity, and cultural understanding through art.
The entrance is free until reaching the maximum capacity.

Valencia celebra el Día de la Cooperación Europea con un espectáculo que combina humor con disciplinas circenses
La complejidad de los programas europeos de cooperación hace difícil trasladar a la sociedad cuáles son los resultados cosechados por las iniciativas emprendidas conjuntamente por diferentes regiones. Sin embargo, los casos de cooperación se cuentan por millares en Europa y conseguir que la sociedad se familiarice con ellos es el objetivo de este evento y de todas las iniciativas celebradas en Europa bajo esta campaña.
En este sentido, cada 21 de septiembre, Europa celebra la cooperación entre regiones a través de la organización de más de un centenar de actividades que tienen lugar en numerosas ciudades a lo largo y ancho del Viejo Continente. Interact Valencia se ha sumado un año más a la conmemoración, esta vez con un espectáculo fresco y novedoso en el que el humor se combina con diferentes disciplinas circenses.
Este circo teatralizado, llamado ‘EXPRESS’, se enmarca en el Año Europeo de las Capacidades y Habilidades: ocho jóvenes ofrecerán destacados portés acrobáticos, técnicas circenses como el palo chino, verticales, el ‘clown’ y sobresalientes movimientos de equilibrio. El show está creado colectivamente para sorprender y enloquecer al público.
¿De qué va el espectáculo?
En la agencia de mensajería ‘Express’ nada funciona como debería. Todo está patas arriba, incluso sus trabajadores. Los paquetes van y vienen entre acrobacias, equilibrios y malabares. El trabajo no cesa. Los envíos vuelan tanto como sus empleados y además están llenos de sorpresas que asombrarán a todos. Como asistente, estate atento… ¡Puede que tengas correo!
Faltan7 es una compañía internacional formada por ocho profesionales de cuatro países: Irlanda, Israel, Italia y España. Representan a la perfección los valores europeos de respeto, diversidad a través de la inclusión y entendimiento cultural a través del arte.
